August 11, 2025 is the 30th year anniversary of the start of the 'talking poltergeist' research investigation interviews in Oklahoma that resulted with my 'paranormal initiation' quickly gaining momentum as revelatory experiences brought the expansion of my metaphysical understanding through the succession of personally witnessed events. Testament was published in January 1997. I opted to use a verbatim question and answer interview and journal transcripts approach to provide a documentary format to occurrences that otherwise I knew would be considered beyond known possibility to most people.

A pivotal documented occurrence has been reported in previous blog articles without seeming to have aroused much of a reaction among readers whose own perceptions have been impacted by a lifetime engaging in the culturally traditional pastimes of giving one's attention to commercial media — generally banal entertainment melodramas along with a variety of news and information media prioritized according to corporate agendas.
An incidental memory mentioned by the mother of the family in Oklahoma experiencing the supernatural phenomena is discernible as providing the pivotal clue solving the ages-old 'poltergeist puzzle.' The following excerpt is, in fact, the revelatory statement that had spontaneously been made by the mother during an interview recorded on a microcassette tape. Following this passage from Testament are the revelatory correlations with documented data from preceding poltergeist case chronologies that provide the subtext and context for the gamut of experiences I'd experienced firsthand.

Among talking poltergeist cases of preceding epochs, a revealing passage found in The Bell Witch of Middle Tennessee (1930) by Harriet Parks Miller shows an understanding of the "invisible agency of tangible action" that wasn't so precisely explained in other published accounts: "You know, as I've said before, I am anything and everything, here, there and everywhere. Just now I'm the spirit of an early emigrant . . ." In the Bell Witch case study book by M. V. Ingram published in 1894, the daughter of one of the main original witnesses in the case said that she'd learned that upon being asked for an explanation of the diverse phenomena, the response of the haunting presence was: "I am all things and anything I want to be; now don't you know what I am?'" In the case study book of the Isle of Man/'Gef' case The Haunting of Cashen's Gap: A Modern Miracle Investigated (1936) by Harry Price and R. S. Lambert, the haunting presence became identified with a talking mongoose and on other occasions offered such associations as "a ghost in the form of a weasel," "a large stray cat," "the fifth dimension," "the eighth wonder of the world," and "the Holy Ghost." My paper about parallels between the Bell Witch and Gef case chronologies was heard at the 2014 Symposium on the subject of the Gef case at the Senate House Library of the University of London. Soon thereafter, the transcript was published in an article at this blog with the addition of a description of the personal incident chronicled in Testament. However, I don't know of any authors commenting about poltergeist phenomena who've been able to make use of this 'final clue' to make possible developing the knowledgeable perspective of 'poltergeist phenomena.' This blogger, myself, was one of the countless human beings culturally programmed to engage in watching movies and TV shows along with listening to Pop music during the first 39 years of my life. My 'paranormal initiation' gained momentum after I'd begun a career in the Los Angeles entertainment industry that included myself being employed as a Hollywood talent agent and then as a Senior Publicist with the task of writing press materials for Paramount Pictures. My personal consideration given to nonfiction paranormal case studies culminated with experiencing expansion of consciousness upon returning home from a trip to research a 'talking poltergeist' haunting. I remained an interested witness as 'supernatural' phenomena continued to occur before my eyes — in ways becoming ever more limitless.

So-called journalists of the commercial mainstream news media who avoided reporting about myself and Testament were among the people who made apparent how people are 'trapped in social consciousness' and are making known pivotal reasons for the lack of progression throughout Earth societies in relation to expanding one's consciousness about 'paranormal,' metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological aspects of life. As this blogger has reached the age of 69, I must accept that few other (if any) human beings are able to experience daily life in the ways that I've been doing and chronicling online for what will be 30 years by the end of this month. Producer Howard W. Koch was someone with whom I interacted during my talent agent years and then once again during my employment as Paramount Pictures publicity department staff writer. Despite the complete news media lack of reporting about myself and my book beyond a few 'morning zoo' or paranormal-themed radio programs, I've never attempted to 'position' myself in any way other than being frankly honest about everything that has happened.
Preparing Testament for publication, I decided to emphasize the nonfiction question-and-answer format with the designation "Transcribed by Mark Russell Bell" on the cover instead of simply "by Mark Russell Bell." One problem that resulted from this became apparent when I found my book relegated to the 'Channeling' section at The Bodhi Tree, a local 'New Age' bookstore. At that time in my life, I wasn't fully aware of the prominence of channeled books — at least at spec

Fear and superstition are known to be highly profitable throughout the mass media, influencing the interpretation of news articles about metaphysical topics, such as the Mabus anagram; and this also influences the determination of storylines for movies, TV shows and novels. Something noticeable that I do have in common with 'the Antichrist' is feeling to need to share the facts pertaining to how extant historical evidence establishes that the biblical Jesus is a composite character. As previously mentioned, the case study of my own paranormal initiation Testament concludes with the realization that 'chosen ones' are no different from anyone else in that each person must be one's own savior.
There are people whose perceptions about what is possible in life is based upon what has been learned from regulated school curriculums and from mainstream commercial news and information media. Some are left unable or unwilling to consider the authenticity of evidence of 'paranormal' phenomena such as materialized people photographed during seances that became popular during the Spiritualism epoch. Attempted 'debunking' of these photos has been based on either a debunker's lack of personal knowledge about the documented circumstances or they are being dishonest. One of the influences leading to entertainment dominating people's activity is the rejection of the Divine Dispensations made discernible through a variety of paranormal phenomena manifested throughout the world during the epoch of Spiritualism. This data making possible the perception of an omnipresent Force interacting with humanity was widely ignored, denied and at times misrepresented by people motivated by skepticism or denialism. Fear of unknown powers superseded intelligent investigation. This blogger has noticed that one of these processes is putting before a viewer ever-more-grotesque melodramas as an attempt to encourage seeking more fulfilling sources to give one's attention more in harmony with one's 'Higher Self.' Travesty and ignominy may be aspects of an entertainment experience so that people may be motivated to seek more intellectually sound activities.
