This post presents movie posters with imagery seen earlier in my life . . .
Each person alive on Earth is now coping with the consequences of existing during 'The Devil' 'God Alter Ego' phase of existence on our planet. Each one of us must do everything possible to reduce this polarity from manifesting in one's own life and in human lives collectively. Ignoring this article will leave you uninformed about how to take control of your life to the best of one's ability and according to one's own metaphysical and spiritual understanding. Corporate entertainment programming is an 'escape from reality' while the way to advance beyond experiencing incarnations on our physical plane of Earth life is to expand your knowledge of metaphysical and spiritual aspects of being.

'Silence of the Sheeple'? Creativity, synchronicity and Superconscious aspects of human existence are subjects of these articles with this latest post presenting movie posters with imagery seen earlier in my life that now seem prophetic about my predicament reporting about the 'New Initiation.' Superconsciousness expressing through human creativity now manifests blatant 'mockery' or 'mocking' aspects — for example, consider plot elements of current movies now in release. The movies are calculated for mass consumption/programming by corporate executives whose objective is financial exploitation of 'sheeple': "Bullet Train," "DC League of Super-Pets," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Nope," "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Minions: The Rise of Gru," "Bodies Bodies Bodies" and "Where the Crawdads Sing."

The omnipresent spiritual Oneness or 'All That Is' Is All things to All living organisms All the time. The current series of blog articles has reported about the present phase of life on Earth with 'The Devil' 'God Alter Ego' in Manifestation as the 'God' phase is now known to have receded. Internationally, each human being must overcome immoral 'social consciousness,' 'military programming,' materialistic values and 'corporate thinking' along with allowing oneself to remain being in the helpless state of 'entertainment trance' and believing yourself unable to 'make a difference' in the world. A simple way for you to contribute to reducing the negative polarity in your own life is simply by informing other people about this series of blog articles so that they too may express love and consideration for the Shared All-Knowing Aspect of ourselves. While writing this present article that you're now reading, I personally realized just how many dark and disturbing aspects of life came into my consciousness from occurrences viewed in movies during the first 40 years of my life. The last narrative studio movie that I saw in a theatre was "Michael" (1996).
Eyes in the Sky: The recent NASA image of 'the Cartwheel galaxy' is described as "A large pink, speckled galaxy resembling a wheel with with a small, inner oval, with dusty blue in between on the right, with two smaller spiral galaxies about the same size to the left against a black background. Credits: NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI." Readers of this blog will remember the other portentious NASA image of the 'Hourglass Nebula' and realize the significance of this new 'Wheel of Eternity' in 'Outer Space.' Readers will also recall mystic and Pop Culture symbolic images of 'The Wheel of Eternity' and the "Eye in the Sky" Pop music video. All entertainment opportunities provide examples of the aspect of The God Force expressed as innate human 'creativity' and vary in relation to 'good' ('God') or 'evil' ('The Devil') polarities.
Prior to becoming a metaphysical author following my 'paranormal initiation chronicled in TESTAMENT (1997), I was a publicity writer for Paramount Pictures (article) where I experienced firsthand how the moviegoing experience is based upon commercial exploitation of people's desire to have an interesting experience through watching some form of film or program offering aspects of excitement and novelty. The social consciousness and assumed imperatives finding expression in most fictitious narrative movies are blatantly atheistic and iconoclastic or whimsical/satirical. Some of the well-known movies I helped publicize during my corporate movie studio career are "Braveheart," "Clear and Present Danger," "Coming To America," "Fatal Attraction," "Forrest Gump," "Ghost," "The Godfather Part III," "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," "The Naked Gun" trilogy, "Star Trek" movies, and the two "Wayne's World" movies.
Paramount publicists were each provided with a tie-in souvenir cap exactly like the one worn by Mike Myers in the movie. I had a collection of movie tie-in caps and this influenced me when I became an author finding it necessary to engage in the usual publicity activities so that people could be allowed to learn about my case study book. The first 1997 news release reported that "TESTAMENT, a 'New Consciousness Bible' . . . is comprised of Q&A interviews and journal entries by a studio publicity writer — 'a carpenter in the Hollywood dream factory.'"
An ironic incident occurred after my twin brother Mike became a publicity executive at Orion Pictures in 1990 and the marketing team at the company were considering possible ways of responding to early criticism of the movie "Silence of the Lambs." After having seen an early screening of the movie, I was one of those who was happy to make a suggestion without any remuneration and faxed what I wrote one day while at work in the Zukor Building at the Paramount studio complex on Melrose in Hollywood. I always believed simple and direct responses were the best. I remember writing something in response to two observations pertaining to the serial killer character portrayed by Ted Levine in the movie. My perspective was that the criticism was ridiculous because the character was not a role model and speculation about the killer's sexuality simply didn't reflect any of the plot elements shown in the movie. I soon learned that the head of marketing selected my two perspectives as those used in response to the criticism.
Ever since my trip to Oklahoma in August 1995 to observe what at the time was estimated as merely a contemporary 'talking poltergeist' haunting where the most prominent manifesting entity was known as 'Michael,' my reporting about the paranormal and 'psychic phenomena' aspects of my life has been a journalistic occupation. It was heartbreaking this year to witness the sudden polarity reversal of 'The God Force' to 'The Devil' 'God Alter Ego.' Only when everyone worldwide thinks it of greatest relevance to join together and profess 'Thank You to the One from Whom All Goodness comes'—and express this knowledge with appropriate emotions in one's personal actions all the time—can we, everyone, all break away from the terrors of this current phase of Earth life.
As one example, It is horrible for me now to be finding myself getting burned performing simple tasks in the kitchen that I've done innumerable times before. Contemplating upsetting occurrences such as this, I reflected about whether to include this realization or not in this blog article. Perhaps the pattern suggested by incidents such as this is important to be understood by readers who may recognize similar incidents in your own life. ("OH" [solar plexus voice utterance heard while I was typing this article] on Sunday in the early evening)
I can affirm that there are some positive synchronicity messages continuing to manifest among my life experiences so I'm urging readers not to consider themselves as individually insignificant regarding alerting other people to 'the Message' and doing all one can to manifest love for the 'Source of All Life' that has made all Blessings possible for each of us. The Eastern mystic orientation to 'The Void' seems highly applicable to the current state of American society regarding metaphysically essential—and vastly interesting—information as commercial news media continue equating relevance with the 'bad' and/or attention-mongering things that occur in society (incl. victims and victimizers, celebrity scandals, political propaganda . . . well you know).
Although it was many years ago when I stopped allowing negative thoughts and emotions into my mind through the pastime of watching movies, I read online that the soundtrack for the movie "Nope" includes actress Jodie Foster singing "La Vie C'est Chouette." The English song lyrics of the Jodie Foster rendition of this song remind me of the predominance of two essential concerns in relation to one's (your) life on Earth presently — the intrinsic need to experience 'love' and, secondly, to have access to interesting and consciousness-expanding information. Regarding karma and synchronicity, some movie performers have consistently found themselves to be associated with themes of evil and oppression. For example: Robert De Niro is an example of 'The Bobs' pattern (1, 2) — an actor whose movies show these associations. Alfred Hitchcock is an iconic suspense thriller/horror director whose movies were acclaimed during my younger years. I remember once encountering Jodie Foster when she was a young actress. She was with a Disney publicist whom I knew and we had all just seen an AMPAAS screening of "Nosferatu The Vampyre" (1979). Jodie and I both had 'liked' the movie although this predicament now seems somewhat absurd to me upon considering the 'horror' elements of the movie. At that time, I never would have dreamed that I would someday be employed as a movie publicity writer and at times find myself dealing with sensitive public relations quandaries. One of my earlier Paramount film assignments was "The Accused" starring Kelly McGillis and Jodie Foster.
A 'Foster' name synchronicity is that the "Nope" production company Monkeypaw Productions Director of Communications and Head of Special Projects is Geoff Foster. Images shown below are the logo for "Nope" director-screenwriter Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and an image from the movie; along with some previous art from previous Metaphysical Articles blog posts. Pop culture associations recalled from my own life experiences include an Alfred Hitchcock TV show episode "The Monkey's Paw: A Retelling" and the Laurie Anderson Pop song rendition of "Monkey's Paw".
A reader must have read my previous articles with commentary about this new horror movie (article) and the widespread mental conditioning that can be called 'entertainment trance' (1, 2) to perceive some of the significance concerning the countless ironies of this predicament. On July 29 I contributed this comment to the Reddit r/movies "Official Discussion - Nope [SPOILERS]" —
I've always commented that my primary orientation as metaphysical author is as a journalist (selected to be a 'Message bringer' / 'everyman figure' / 'surrogate' for the reader as selected by 'The God Force'/'The Message Giver' apparently due to my previous ancient incarnation as a pharaonic leader-priest made known to me with the name 'Bel-Marduk'). And, no, I'm not going to purchase a Monkeypaw Productions cap, which seems a little pricey at $45. The cap is shown below along with five of the caps that I sometimes wore during the years when I was working on TESTAMENT and the original follow-up Internet book NEW TESTAMENT.
TESTAMENT and my autobiographical blog articles (1, 2) document my daily life experiencing Manifestations of Love from 'The God Force' beginning with my 'paranormal initiation' in 1995 (27 years ago this month). This phase in my life ended with the beginning of this current phase of 'The Devil' 'God Alter Ego' that I began comprehending in May this year. This ongoing series of articles has included commentary about the apparent reasons for the lack of word-of-mouth and news media reporting about myself as 'Message bringer' of 'The Message Giver.' My numerous blog posts have always been planned with the understanding that each post should offer some manner of metaphysical/paranormal/spiritual insight to a first-time reader while considerably more realizations will be possible for a consistent blog reader.
Perhaps I may observe here that the biblical composite character of 'Jesus' has his symbolic lambs and contemporary people are metaphorical 'sheeple' whose lives are now in immediate danger of a cataclysmic planetary event as explained in this series of articles. As journalist-blogger, these articles reveal that culturally-programmed incredulity and social consciousness about the Nature of 'God' has now resulted with presumably superstitious orientations of past epochs concerning 'punishments of "The Devil"' now becoming literally expressive of what is happening to humanity right now.
My two releases published this year still are yet to be reported in any mainstream media news publication: "Testament 'A New Consciousness Bible' was Published 25 Years Ago in Los Angeles" and "A New Paranormal Initiation to 'God' and 'The Devil' Is Chronicled by Los Angeles Blogger Mark Russell Bell of metaphysicalarticles.org".
While chronicling the daily interactions with my personal 'guide/s in Oneness'/'Guardian Angel' as representing the 'God Force' manifesting continuously around me in diverse and unlimited ways in my life following my first 'paranormal initiation' in August 1995, I've often reflected about the many portentous and prophetic occurrences that I've experienced throughout the preceding years of my life. After the publication of my nonfiction case study book TESTAMENT in 1997 there followed that same year a noncommercial Internet edition at the testament.org website. A sequel follow-up book also began being published at that time with journal and interview verbatim transcript 'chapters.'
As mentioned occasionally, I was employed as a talent agent prior to becoming a press agent [movie publicist] and finally, to coin a phrase, a 'poltergeist agent' during the aftermath of my 1995 research expedition to investigate a contemporary 'talking poltergeist' case in rural Centrahoma, Oklahoma. I'd been a 'Cinema major' at USC (or 'Sinema') before beginning my entertainment industry career. I now realize that every creative aspect of the moviemaking process—as with those of any art form and including marketing contributions—is consciously 'channeled' and how 'The God Force' expresses and manifests through yourself becomes 'who you are' in your life as you interact with other Earth people — each of ourselves being an individual 'consciousness unit' of 'All That Is.' There is the question of 'balance' in relation to considerations spanning the spiritual and physical and now the media concentrating on materialistic values and entertainment with an emphasis on sexuality/animalism has resulted in the present phase of warned dire cataclysm. While I try to avoid political commentary, the military values of American leaders for many years is blatantly indicative of 'military programming' indoctrination that has become culturally traditional for no good reasons.
Considering how the 'spiritual Oneness' has been manifesting through creative mass media, I'm reminded of all the documentary movies and television programming with environmental warnings, including "Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance" (1952) directed by Godfrey Reggio; the title is a Hopi word.
Sadly, 'The God Force'/'The Only One' (two expressions found among the annals of transcendental communication concerning the shared Source Consciousness for 'All That Is') is overlooked by countless people today as they are accustomed to traditional cultural social 'programming' encompassing values associated with materialism and fame/'celebrity' illusions of 'prestige' manifested among materialistically privileged iotas of 'God' and therefore deemed to be 'relevant' and 'newsworthy' among commercial news media. What may be learned in news coverage about celebrated people equated with materialistic values is that they are living existences of comparable intellectual disparity in relation to expressing 'love' in return to 'The God Force.' Something necessary for myself to express in previous articles is how readers and journalists can manifest/express 'love' in return to 'God' by reporting and/or informing other people about 'The Message Giver' to expand the metaphysical and spiritual knowledge of people worldwide to avoid another civilizating-ending cataclysm as is known to have occurred on the Earth prior to modern recorded history. The expressed love between humans and The God Force is the only aspect of our current lives that will last after each one of us individually returns 'home' to the Ascended Realm of Being following the present Earth incarnation.
In one previous article I mentioned — Hugo Münsterberg observed in his 1916 book about the early days of cinema The Photoplay; A Psychological Study: "But the richest source of the unique satisfaction in the photoplay is probably that esthetic feeling which is significant for the new art and which we have understood from its psychological conditions. The massive outer world has lost its weight, it has been freed from space, time, and causality, and it has been clothed in the forms of our own consciousness. The mind has triumphed over matter and the pictures roll on with the ease of musical tones. It is a superb enjoyment which no other art can furnish us. No wonder that temples for the new goddess are built in every little hamlet."
As a child, one of my first moviegoing experiences was seeing a re-release of 'Fantasia" at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood in 1963. The prominence of Disney icon 'Mickey Mouse' in the movie reminds me that 'The Michael pattern' noticeable in famous paranormal case chronologies also encompasses my Pop culture experiences throughout the years. The Archangel Michael is the archetype for an angelic Force interacting with mankind throughout the age

My USC and state scholarship plan incorporated the first two years of my attending Pasadena City College for requisite non-major classes. Nonetheless, I included one class of film history to begin orienting myself to this field of study although I knew the units wouldn't be transferable. One movie I remember seeing was Ingmar Bergman's "Wild Strawberries." Any visual images associated with a poster was not part of my experience of these films at the time. Other movies seen in this class include Birth of a Nation" directed by D. W. Griffith, "The Third Man" directed by Carol Reed, and "Midnight Cowboy" directed by John Schlesinger. D. W. Griffith also brought to the screen the silent movie "Intolerance" and John Schlesinger later directed "The Day of the Locust" and a Paramount movie "Eye for an Eye" (the latter was among my publicity writing assignments). Below is an image today associated with the 197-minute 1916 film. At this time in my life, I'd never heard of 'Bel-Marduk' in relation to the fall of Babylon. An irony of my early years is that my family lived near the MGM studios and I can still remember seeing while being a tiny passenger inside a car some parts of the Babylon-style structures that had been erected for the production of the classic movie
.
Cinema students learn about such historical aspects of moviemaking as two Russian examples: 'Kuleshov’s experiment' and the emotions that can be aroused in viewers with visual montages, such as the famous one in "Battleship Potemkin." While in high school, the artistic, intellectual and emotional aspects of movies attracted me to consider a movie industry career. I reviewed Ingmar Bergman's "Cries and Whispers" in my high school newspaper and commented: ". . . Ingmar Bergman has concerned himself with the relationship between four women, and like many of Bergman's past films, the qualities of personalities infringing upon other personalities are strongly realized."
Prior to this, my brother Mike and I had watched Bergman's "The Virgin Spring" when presented on the Los Angeles Public Broadcasting System station. The savage rape-murder of a young girl graphically depicted in the film shocked us profoundly as nothing seen in the few sexual education presentations prepared us for the animalistic savagery being dramatized. It was best to know about this aspect of human potentiality and neither Mike nor I could ever forget the experience. Other movies and books that I reviewed for the high school newspaper include "A Clockwork Orange" directed by Stanley Kubrick, "The Candidate" directed by Michael Ritchie, Harvest Home by Thomas Tryon, and Beyond Belief, a nonfiction book about The Moors Murders in England, and "The Exorcist" directed by William Friedkin. The latter movie review unexpectedly brought me a national award from the Quill and Scroll International Society for High School Journalists. A movie reviews of "Save The Tiger" brought me a national award from Scholastic Magazines and I received another one for an informal article entitled "Picture Puzzle of a Mind Without a Window". I also was the author of a high school newspaper column entitled "So What?" While attending PCC my college newspaper contributions included a movie review of "Taxi Driver" directed by Martin Scorsese.

I've written about the amazing synchronicities in my life with movie directors Alfred Hitchcock and Ken Russell in blog articles, including "Reflections and Images - Deciphering Angelic Initiation" and "Adventures in Synchronicity". Here is an excerpt.
As those who have read the case study Testament (1997) know, my early career was in the entertainment industry so some of my reflections included synchronicity with the motion picture medium. It was strange realizing that I might have a shared ancestry with film directors Alfred Hitchcock ("Rebecca," "Vertigo") and Ken Russell ("Tommy," "Altered States") — a filmmaker who also showed an affinity for surprising audiences. Or perhaps the correlations with the Hitchcock and Russell surnames is significant enough, regardless of bloodline. Luke Hitchcock's father John Hiscockes was also born in All Cannings in 1586. The name of the town reminded me of the name of the author Victor Canning who wrote the novel The Rainbird Pattern that was the basis for Alfred Hitchcock's final movie, "Family Plot." Alfred Hitchcock died at his home in Bel Air in 1980. According to the www.victorcanning.com biography, Canning married Adria Irving-Bell in November 1976. I also remember that one of my professors at the University of Southern California was John Russell Taylor, one of Hitchcock's biographers.
There are thematic parallels between aspects of my life and circumstances among the storylines of the movies directed by Hitchcock indicated with the movie posters shown below, among other of h
is films.
My path and life converged with that of director Ken Russell when he made an impromptu appearance at a Los Angeles film exposition offering the rare chance for me to view two of his early telefilms. Earlier in life, I'd selected his latest movie for a USC class project only to discover upon watching it that everything about the film seemed misconceived. Most shocking of all was the carelessness displayed with dialogue mistakenly using the title of the movie, "Valentino," instead of what probably should have been stated to be "Monsieur Beaucaire." Upon learning that the famous director was currently staying at the Beverly Wilshire, I dropped off for him at the front desk a copy of my essay about the movie. How could an artist make such an obvious mistake with nobody noticing such a glaring miscalculation. Evidently some lessons about Superconsciousness in relation to the cinema art form are being shared.

Another film director whose movies I found interesting and influential to my perspectives of Earth life while I was studying the cinema is Rainer Werner Fassbinder. The posters below are for films with titles in English "Love Is Colder Than Death" (1969), "Beware of a Holy Whore" (1971), "Ali: Fear Eats the Soul" (1974), "Martha" (1974), "Effi Briest" (1974), "Lili Marleen" (1981). Memorable Fassbinder films include "Berlin Alexanderplatz" (1980), The Merchant of Four Seasons" (1972), "Fox and His Friends" (1974), "Satan's Brew" (1976), "Chinese Roulette" (1976), In a Year of 13 Moons (1978), "The Marriage of Maria Braun" (1979) and the documentary "Theatre In Trance" (1981) that screened during a Los Angeles film exposition. The German miniseries "Berlin Alexanderplatz" screened in the entirety—except for the final epilogue episode due to technical difficulties the scheduled night—on the local PBS station. I remember reading in a biographical book about Fassbinder that he once commented that if a director has to give any instruction to a particular actor or actress, then he has selected the wrong person t
o play the role.
Another movie director whose films interested me was Robert Altman, who became a TESTAMENT interview participant (Tape #46, Side #2). The book also includes an interview with director Neil Jordan from the Paramount Pictures publicity writing occupation period of my life. His latest movie was "We're No Angels" starring Robert De Niro, Sean
Penn and Demi Moore.
Other memorable and disturbing films directed by Robert Altman include "That Cold Day in the Park," ""McCabe & Mrs. Miller," "Thieves Like Us," "3 Women," "Quintet," "Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean," "Streamers" and "Short Cuts." Altman divulged in at least one interview that some of his most acclaimed movies derived from dreams that he'd experienced. Regarding "The Player," my own life path has similarly converged with those of many movie and TV 'celebrities' throughout my career. Incidents of 'the Bobs' synchronicity in my life include Robert De Niro, Robert Carradine, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Conrad, Robert Towne, Robert Townsend.
Considering contemporary Pop culture correlations with what is known about ancient spiritual or religious traditions, there's a parallel to be distinguished between Münsterberg's "new goddess" with the 'Primeval Mother' named 'Tiamat' during the ancient chronology preserved in extant ancient civilization relics involving an Omnipresent Spiritual Force as 'Bel Marduk' (The Lord God) and similarly-named human 'chosen one' evidently the reincarnation of the mortal human associated with the name 'Bel-Marduk.' Complicating extant historical records further are descriptions of a planet also named 'Marduk.' (Articles about the reincarnation of 'Bel-Marduk' at this blog include: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.)

As mentioned in a previous autobiographical article, after graduating from USC I began a 7-year career working at a Hollywood Hills talent agency upon accepting a job working as an assistant to actor Mickey Rooney. Mamie Van Doren was another talent agency client who I had the opportunity to interview while working on the follow-up book to TESTAMENT. One of my metaphysical lessons that I learned about actors and actresses is that "Their lives are revealed through their movies" (article) and this may include aspects of metaphorical or literal/'individual physical
' reincarnation. (article)

Something I realized after interacting with Mickey was that his having worked in front of the camera to the extent he did while growing up had resulted in some uncultivated intellectual and social orientations. I witnessed firsthand the effects and complexity of being a celebrity adored by the public. In comparison, today people have a love/hate relationship to anyone who is a 'celebrity.' After I left the talent agency, Ruth and her new sub-agent became what an LA weekly magazine called "Scandal Queens." (1, 2, 3) I contacted Ruth and Sherri to see if they would be interested in working with me as I planned the publication of TESTAMENT. They didn’t seem to be. I realized that not everyone understands or values events or people that might seem overtly pious or esoteric. Perhaps their subconscious Mind was a factor in Ruth and Sherri's decision about
this.

Along with all the usual movies intended for children, this 1964 movie was one of the many 'adult movies' that my parents thought would be worthwhile for Mike and I to see while otherwise being dependent upon their personal supervision. Other movies that I contemplated upon seeing during my childhood years as a form of 'babysitting' include "The Night of the Iguana" (1964), "Doctor Zhivago" and "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming
" (1966).

While digging an extension in the London underground, workers come across skeletal remains. Construction is halted and paleontologist Dr. Matthew Roney's team take over. They soon find a metal object that they initially think might be a bomb but turns out to be an alien spacecraft of some kind. Roney's assistant Barbara Judd and Professor Bernard Quatermass, a rocket specialist who does experimental work for the Ministry of Defence, discover that much of the housing around the site was abandoned by its inhabitants 40 years ago because of strange noises and what was believed to be ghosts. George Lucas Popularized 'The God Force' and the 'Dark Side.' I was attending USC when I attended one of the first screenings of the first "Star Wars" movie that was exclusive for cinema department students. Prior to becoming a metaphysical author in 1997, among the movies that I helped publicize as Paramount Pictures publicity department staff writer are two George Lucas productions: "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and "Tucker: The Man and His Dream. My previous articles concerning "Star Wars" include "The Force Awakens?" and "EVP Investigation: 2015 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Comic-Con Panel". Many blog articles have included perspectives of 'The God Force' (incl. 1, 2, 3). While working at Paramount, one of my assignments was preparing a speech about George Lucas for a marketing executive and my research made me realize how George's path in life was influenced by a car accident that occurred days before his high school graduation. I attended the ceremony conducted by a teachers organization and was surprised how little of my prepared oratory had been augmented for the occasion. Something that may not be realized by "Star Wars" enthusiasts is how influential George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola were for each other throughout their careers. I always felt an undefinable affinity with George Lucas. His success as a USC cinema student was certainly the opposite of what happened to me when I was planning a movie production career. My reaction upon seeing "Star Wars" was that it was an entertaining and whimsical fantasy with impressive production values and was surprised by the phenomenal boxoffice success. When there followed a "Star Trek" motion picture adaptation, I felt that the storyline and characters were more vivid and compelling. While working at Paramount, I remember encountering Francis Ford Coppola and his wife after a screening of the third "Godfather" movie (another one of the films I helped publicize) for studio executives. I'd been hosting a "Ghost" screening and I think it was a programme with the movie poster that caught Francis's attention. Upon bringing to publication TESTAMENT I attempted to let George Lucas know about the book through Emailing a Lucasfilm publicity staff member with whom I'd worked while at Paramount yet I never received an

This movie exemplifies the pernicious aspects of fictitious movies exploiting fearful and superstitious orientations to 'paranormal phenomena.' I previously mentioned "reasons I stopped allocating time to watching movies in early 1997" as being "lack of sophistication; inanity; negativity; and suspense generated in ways that Manly P. Hall on one occasion equated with 'a pernicious effect.' One should be thoughtful about enhancing ways of expanding one's mind. There are more important things for one to do. The main motivation for many movies that are produced is simply to make as much money as possible. While a viewer who is spiritually and metaphysically aware may be aware of esoteric orientations to Pop culture expressions, most people are unaware of these and there is little advantage usually to a moviegoing experience among the knowledgeable." The unit publicist for this movie was a coworker of mine while working for Paramount and a transcript my interview with him is included in TESTAMENT. (Tape #52,

In 1992 I experienced a "Night of God" and during the final moments of that inexpressable-in-words-to- some-extent experience (that later reminded me of what historically were known as a 'Rapture of Christ') my emotions and thoughts were that I must return to Earth to help all of the people instead of continuing in the Rapture. I later realized that my predicament as experienced was exactly like what was depicted as happening to the Jesus character in the movie "The Last Temptation of Christ" that I'd seen in 1988 and once mentioned this during a hypnotherapy session. I'd been able to attend a studio screening of the film at Universal because of my brother's connections as a publicist. My unique 1992 experience and a second one thereafter were such unusual and vivid nocturnal experiences that I wrote down some noted details immediately after each experience. Following my 'paranormal initiation' in 1995, I began keeping a consistent journal for the first time and decided upon using microcassette recording tape cassettes to maintain a spontaneous record of my experiences and interviews while planning to publish a case study of the shocking yet metaphysically revealing events that had begun to occur during my dail
y life.

The unforgettable line of dialogue in this movie is "stupid is as stupid does." As I mentioned in an autobiographical article about my Hollywood studio publicity writer years (1987-1995) — I was able to attend an advance rough cut screening of "Forrest Gump" and even then it seemed everyone involved with the project knew that this was a unique movie. The film is one that is fascinating to consider in relation to what is known as 'suspension of disbelief' for moviegoers in relation to the footage of famous people who are seen. When the Paramount publicity department was awarded the Publicists Guild Award for "Forrest Gump," I was thanked profusely by a department vice president during the acceptance speech yet it was mentioned that my name wasn't included among the identified staff for the award certificates. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time yet it made me realize how unfair the corporate system can be. I was still doing the basic job I'd been doing while on staff and realized—just like how I'd been treated at the talent agency—what I was doing and how I was doing it didn't fit the federal guidelines for what constitutes being an independent contractor in comparison to an employee, considering that I was still working fulltime for all those Paramount releases. Being relegated to vendor status impacted my ability to help generate effective publicity campaigns. For example: when a producer expressed that in her estimation the positioning rendered a main character unsympathetic, I said that this was an undeniable aspect of the film. I explained that by emphasizing the stark aspects of the character in press materials, considerable media commentary and public discussion could be generated as had happened with such movies as "Fatal Attraction" and "Indecent Proposal." After the brief conversation, the matter was dropped and the press kit production information attributed motivations to the character that weren't in the script. The film came and went with little media interest. Concerning the nullified stock option, I probably could've brought a successful lawsuit about my predicament. This was a sizeable monetary loss when one looks at stock records yet I've never had the time or mindset for legal proceedings throughout my busy life (although like most people, it would probably be better if there was more money in my bank account in case of some unplanned emergency). The following year, the "Braveheart" publicity campaign was also awarded by the Publicists Guild (and I did receive a certificate with my name on it for The Maxwell Weinberg Showmanship Award for Motion Pictures for my work on "Braveheart" publicity materials).

The final scene in "12 Monkeys" is prophetic about the circumstances and predicament of 'sheeple.' This movie is a topic of discussion for myself and my friend Marie—who had invited me to attend a Screen Actors Guild screening with her—in TESTAMENT (Tape 50, Side 2 transcript). Marie is also a subject of the articles "Bel-Marduk, An Automatic Writing Session and My Interview with Marie" and "Expanded Consciousness Is Possible for Everyone (Part 2)".
This is how the movie is currently summarized at wikipedia.org:
A deadly virus, released in 1996, wipes out almost all of humanity, forcing survivors to live underground. A group known as the Army of the Twelve Monkeys is believed to have released the virus.
In 2035, James Cole is a prisoner living in an underground compound beneath Philadelphia. Cole is selected to be sent back in time to find the original virus to help scientists develop a cure in exchange for a reduced sentence. Meanwhile, Cole is troubled by dreams involving a foot chase and shooting at an airport.
Cole arrives in Baltimore, 1990, not 1996 as planned; he is arrested and incarcerated at a mental hospital on the diagnosis of Dr. Kathryn Railly. There he encounters Jeffrey Goines, a mental patient with environmentalist and anti-corporatist views. Cole is interviewed by a panel of doctors where he tries to explain that the virus outbreak has already happened.
After an escape attempt, Cole is sedated and locked in a cell, but he disappears, waking up back in 2035. Cole is interrogated by the scientists who play a distorted voicemail message that asserts the association of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys with the virus. He is also shown photos of numerous people suspected of being involved, including Goines. The scientists offer Cole another chance to complete his mission and send him back in time. Cole accidentally arrives at a battlefield during World War I, is shot in the leg and then transported to 1996.
In 1996, Railly gives a lecture about the Cassandra complex to a group of scientists. At the post-lecture book signing, Railly meets Dr. Peters who tells her that apocalypse alarmists represent the sane vision while humanity's gradual destruction of the environment is the real lunacy.
Cole arrives at the venue after seeing flyers publicizing it and, when Railly departs, he kidnaps her and forces her to take him to Philadelphia. They learn that Goines is the founder of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys before they set out in search of him. When Cole confronts Goines, he denies any involvement with the group and says that, in 1990, Cole originated the idea of wiping out humanity with a virus stolen from Goines' virologist father, Dr. Leland Goines.
Cole is transported back to 2035 where he reaffirms to the scientists his commitment to his mission. But when he finds Railly again in 1996, he tells her he now believes himself crazy as she had suggested. Meanwhile, Railly has discovered evidence of his time travel which she shows him, believing he is sane. They decide to depart for the Florida Keys before the onset of the plague.
They learn that the Army of the Twelve Monkeys was not the source of the epidemic; the group's major act of protest is releasing animals from a zoo and placing Goines' father in an animal cage. At the airport, Cole leaves a message telling the scientists that following the Army of the Twelve Monkeys is the wrong track and he will not return. Cole is confronted by Jose, his cell mate from his own time, who gives Cole a handgun and instructs him to follow orders.
Railly spots Dr. Peters at the airport and recognizes him from a newspaper as an assistant of Goines' father. Peters is about to embark on a tour of several cities that match the locations of the viral outbreaks.
Cole forces his way through a security checkpoint in pursuit of Peters. After drawing his gun, Cole is shot by police. As Cole lies dying in Railly's arms, Railly suddenly begins to scan the crowd around her. Railly finally makes eye contact with a small boy—the young James Cole witnessing the scene of his own death, which will replay in his dreams for years to come. Peters, aboard the plane with the virus, sits down next to Jones, one of the scientists from the future, who comments that her job is "insurance." The young Cole watches the plane take off from the
ground outside the airport.

My autobiographical books and articles exemplify how you and everyone can become a 'Christed one' for yourself through being aware of the potentiality for 'entertainment trance' and developing your metaphysical and spiritual understanding while devoting yourself to manifesting beneficial actions for the world. The 600+ articles at this blog are about subjects serving this goal with an Articles Index of Subjects and Titles with Links available. Other websites also intended for this purpose include TESTAMENT.org, Paranormal Encyclopedia . Net and spiritualdiscovery.info. Regarding contemporary Pop music, I find it impossible to tolerate listening to most songs being played today and some reasons for this are evident upon seeing the recent additions to my blog-related video playlists.
2/5/23 Update: At this year's Grammy Awards, one of the winners is a Pop song entitled "Unholy." The headline of the article link that I saw today is shown below, followed by a link to this song that is the latest to be listed at my YouTube playlist "Videos Relating to the Onset of the Current 'The Devil' Phase of Earth Life"; also shown is a 're
action video' to the Grammy Awards show performance.
